time flies....

Time really flies .. and when it does you do not realize how much precious time you have let go from your lives.

This is what happened with me. I have been thinking of completing my essays from mid-Aug and not this is Mid-oct and I am just sitting on my first essay of Emory. I have really given a great thought, made 10 paged outlines, scrutinized every bit of it and have tried to add a lot of material here and there. I hope it does some magic to the Adcomms.

What I like Emory best, these days, is there flexibility. This flexibility, whether be it in their program or in the process, is something that appeals me the most.

Well, this much for now.Let me complete my Essay-2/3 today and send to Emory before 24th Oct - my deadline.

See ya till then.

1 blog a day , makes a great essay!

I had almost forgot that I made this blog about a month back and noticed that I have not been posting anything. I suspect whether I have any readership for my blog yet, but I would like to have some and hence I thought of adding some posts of what I have been upto , lately and which all schools I have shortlisted.

Well so here you go...
The last one month has been extremely difficult in coming up with a reasonable list of Schools where I have some decent chances. Since I am kind of person who likes to start with a big bang of success and row the rest of the journey with the push of that success, so I started with the "in-the-reach" schools :
US
Emory
UNC
McCombs
USC
Kellogg
UCLA

Non-US:
Rotman
Cambridge
Oxford.

You may question on what is the basis and reasoning I used to comeup with this list, but the most pragmatic reasoning is the chances of my getting-in.

After a little soul searching and encouragement from my friends and family, I am contemplating upon including Kellogg and UCLA. Afterall, any fight is not worth if you dont fight with a tougher enemy. The sense of satisfaction you derive by engaging in a fight with a tough fighter makes the time and efforts worth it. So there you are ...

Now off I go , and work on the uniquness factor in my profile to make myself a great applicant.

catch you later ... did I say after a month .. No ! may be before that. I will try to be more regular now till I am in at my Dream School.

Finally I begun...

After much deliberation over Essay writing for my MBA apps, I began this over the last weekend on the mother of all Essays "Why MBA". Since the process of putting together of the thoughts into words is very challenging and fulfilling, I thought of creating this blog to keep track of my thoughts, pains, resources and any feedbacks that I may receive from You!

Also, the thought of writing something in public sphere is very challenging , I am taking it as a means to get challenged and do some neat writing to hone my own writing skills.
